2012 Legislative Session: A few Executive Committee members from Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans were invited to attend the ceremony where Governor Bobby Jindal signed bold Education Reform bills into law. Bills signed included HB974 (Tenure Reform), HB976 (School Choice), and SB581 (Early Childhood).
Under the leadership of Janet Bean, Education Committee Chair, the Education Committee of Citizens for 1 Greater New Orleans advocated in support of these bills during the 2012 Legislative Session.
